Meet the Team
-
Long Tran
Started at Circle of Discipline gym and was trained by former welterweight champion Jamal James, Long had competed as an amateur in the U.S. for a few years before moving back to Vietnam. Having been through many national tournaments, including the Golden Gloves, he knows what it takes to compete at the highest level.
Here in Hanoi, Long continued to train and compete before focusing on coaching.
-
Jack Edwards
Jack is a dedicated boxing coach with years of experience in London. After relocating to Hanoi, he also guided fighters to multiple wins. With a background in education and psychology, he brings a unique approach to training, focusing not only on physical skills but also on the mental resilience needed to excel.
Jack's expertise allows him to tailor his coaching to fit each individual, whether they're seasoned fighters or newcomers stepping into the ring for the first time.
-
Jack Robinson
Jack started boxing at 8 years old and was coached by Eddie Bolger, who is now the coach of the German national boxing team. He went on to become a five-time Irish national champion and boxed for the Irish national team for a few years.
From what we saw, Jack had some of the most impressive footwork and hand speed we've ever seen. It’s quite rare to see this level of talent here in Hanoi, perhaps in Vietnam.
-
Tuan Nguyen
When it comes to boxing fundamentals and attention to details, Tuan was one of the best boxing instructor that we have seen. Things that Tuan taught also were proved by him at many tournaments in the city. Still an active boxer, Tuan aims to turn professional soon.
-
My Pham
Perhaps the most active fighter we have now. From stadiums in Thailand to professional bouts in Ho Chi Minh city, My has done it all, and still wants more. She has introduced and paved the way for a lot of women here to combat sports.
